What is a fluency?
Accuracy- Refers to a child’s ability to accurately read the words in a text
Rate- Refers to the child’s ability to quickly and correctly read words in a text
Prosody- Refers to a child’s ability to read with expression, tone, and appropriate phrasing
Fluency is “freedom from word recognition problems”
